Nightwatch: The Associates Guide (Player Hand Book)
You are not a hero. You are an Associate.
The Nightwatch: Associates Guide is the official player handbook for the Nightwatch TTRPG--and an abridged version of the Puppet Master Guide--placing you at the front lines of a world that is ocean wide and a canyon deep—and steadily unraveling.
In the year 1869, the world of Atlas stands on the edge of something it cannot comprehend. Rifts tear open the fabric of reality. Wyrd technology promises progress, but demands a price. And in the shadows, organizations like the Association of Ishtar operate where governments cannot—or will not.
This guide equips you to step into that world as an Associate: an agent, investigator, or survivor navigating forces far beyond human understanding.
Inside, you’ll find:
Character creation — Build your Associate, define your role, and choose how you face the unknown
Core gameplay rules — Learn the systems that govern action, risk, and consequence
Fortune Card system — Twist fate in your favor… or watch it turn against you
Equipment & Wyrd Tech — Tools of the trade, from the mundane to the impossible
The World of Atlas — A primer on factions, rifts, and the fragile balance of power
Photocopy sheets of Character Sheets and Fortune Cards
Nightwatch is a game of uncertainty, pressure, and consequence. You are not here to win—you are here to endure, to uncover, and to decide how far you are willing to go.
