This became a short story series called The Association of Ishtar—a multiverse of Loveholmesian adventure and Steampunk-inspired horrors. The ambition is to create a crowdsourced multiverse in which the reader takes the place of an investigator exploring its many worlds while unlocking the secret of the Association of Ishtar.

About
My name is Mark (Tibbletoad)
My name is Mark, I’m 42 years old, and I live in a small rural hamlet somewhere between Utrecht and Amsterdam—a quiet place where silence is still a thing, unless my two cats have other plans. IT-support by day, I’ve been a Dungeon Master for many years now. Building worlds, crafting stories, and guiding players through tension, mystery, and the occasional existential dread is very much my thing.
Over the years I’ve worked with D&D, Witch: Fated Souls, The Horror RPG (including the infamous Diner scenario), and Nightwatch. I also regularly DM and volunteer at conventions and festivals, where I love introducing new players to tabletop roleplaying and sharing stories with the wider community.
I’m also a writer, with my personal work leaning heavily toward fantasy noir and horror. Dark worlds, moral grey areas, and unsettling undertones are where I feel most at home. Beyond that, I’m actively collaborating with others in the community on a deck-builder set in the world of Nightwatch

About
My name is David
David is an artist and properly maker living in the United States. He has been active in the costuming community for over 20 years. What I enjoy about the Association of Ishtar is the detail put into the lore and stories. The novels have drawn me into the different locations and have me asking all sorts of questions about everything from political affiliations to technology. I am a fan of alternative history and the Association of Ishtar keeps me coming back for more of the story. It is refreshing to see steampunk still alive and well.
